 The ‘Adaction’ vehicle is operated by a charitable organisation on the Wirral to engage with a variety of disadvantaged people. The vehicle staff can give advice on a range of topics and has facilities to offer private consultations on a one to one basis as required.
The specification was agreed with the head of staff, and has been well accepted throughout the area.
The vehicle is a medium size ex welfare vehicle based on a Mercedes Vario chassis with twin rear opening doors and a welfare lift for the disabled.
The main entry is at the LHS front and immediately inside the entrance are two twin person IT stations fitted with 17” LCD screens and illuminated top and bottom panels.
The IT stations can be used for computer studies or X Box games. Immediately behind the IT stations is a double lounge area , trimmed in black leather and deep buttoned.
Two small removable coffee tables are located between the couches. To the rear of the lounge on the RHS is kitchen unit housing a stainless steel sink and chrome tap .with pumped hot and cold water, fresh and waste water tanks and storage facilities. Opposite the toilet is a one to one room, with a fully equipped toilet to the rear. On the RHS rear is located the 4.8kw generator that is enclosed in a sound proofed cabinet with work surface above.
The exterior of the vehicle was repainted in silver metallic with bronze Solarfilm fitted to the windows,and a 4m cant mounted awning fitted to give additional external space. |
