The St. Pauls Church Bus is a community bus to provide a platform to encourage people both young and old alike to engage with the church in a most informal way.
The build of the St. Pauls Church vehicle was based on a BDA supplied Optare Excell bus body. The bus was re painted by BDA in its new livery.
External features include Halogen lighting to the near side to illuminate under the side awnings, and a roof mounted extractor fan.
Disabled access to the Bus is straightforward via a fold over entry ramp to the front entrance
Inside, the St. Pauls Church bus is fully trimmed in attractive Velours, Cords and leather and there is a non-slip vinyl flooring together with atmospheric lighting. The internal roof lining is vivid red and in contrast the seating is trimmed in black leather. The open plan layout,specially requested by the vicar to enable every one on board to be engaged with and to enjoy the atmosphere.

Central Lounge
The central Lounge Area has two deep buttoned black leather couches either side of the vehicle with under seat storage lockers. Interior walls and roof are trimmed in soft fabrics and there are twin beech tables mounted on single pedestal legs.
Four LCD TV screens are fitted to each corner of the lounge area. Warm air heating with an ambient cold blow air facility is housed under one side of the seat frames.
