Youth Bus The 3 new Ruskin vehicles are known as ‘Active Traina’ units. Two vehicles are based on MCV 12m Evolution bodies and one vehicle is based on an Optare Tempo 12.3m body. All three vehicles are used for youth training. more

Training Coach The Ruskin coach was initially designed to offer a high quality ‘classroom’ environment to offer to public service vehicle drivers (PCV) the opportunity to take the newly required course at both a convenient time and location. The vehicle also has the capability to offer a variety of educational courses for a variety of uses. more

IT/Training Bus The Aston pride vehicle is a high specification mobile youth outreach vehicle based on a new Alexander Dennis ALX400 double deck vehicle. Following the huge success of a similar single deck vehicle launch in Birmingham known as the ‘Midnight Bus’ the Aston Pride vehicle aims to engage with young people with little hope of employment and who may be drawn into gang culture and crime. more

Hale Health Bus The Bus is ideal for many types of outreach work, or events. It is very well equipped, with cooking facilities and a private consultation room with a toilet. The bus is available for hire with its own dedicated driver who also has community development skills. more

Community Bus A Youth Outreach Vehicle commissioned by Humberside Council to take youth facilities to the outlying villages surrounding the city. Educational, play, sexual health are just a few of the uses. Based on an Iveco 65c 4750wb chassis scuttle, the bespoke BDA body structure is constructed of Cromweld 3cr12 sheet and tube and clad with aluminium sheet with GRP moulded panels to front and rear. more

Youth Van The Telford Mercedes Sprinter Van vehicle was designed as mobile youth outreach vehicles to go to outlying small villages where there is no youth service or youth activity centre. The van was designed to have two distinct areas where different activities could be carried out. more

Youth Van A youth outreach vehicle commissioned by Stirling Council. Based on a Mercedes Sprinter extra long wheelbase, high roof van. The interior designed by BDA was fully insulated and fitted out with bright patterned aluminium walls, complemented with bright red velour ceiling. more

Connexions Bus The Connexions Youth Outreach Vehicle was commissioned by Cheshire Council to take youth facilities to the outlying villages surrounding the city, providing services and advice across a wide range of topics, covering from sexual health to education. more

Blackpool Pregnancy Advice Unit The Blackpool Pregnancy Advice Unit was designed to fulfil two distinct functions; A sexual health advisory service to young people, with the facility to perform in strict privacy a pregnancy test, and during the evenings to become a general youth outreach vehicle. more

Community Bus - St. Pauls Church The St. Pauls Church Bus is a community bus to provide a platform to encourage people both young and old alike to engage with the church in a most informal way. The build of the St. Pauls Church vehicle was based on a BDA supplied Optare Excell bus body. more

Finch Travel Refurbishment The Finch vehicle, a 22 year old Duple 425 integral, was converted by BDA with the JWS re-styling package in 1995/6 after many years of service. This conversion gave a much needed face lift to the front and rear, with new side stress panels and a distinctive body paint job. more

Adaction Vehicle The ‘Adaction’ vehicle is operated by a charitable organisation on the Wirral to engage with a variety of disadvantaged people. The vehicle staff can give advice on a range of topics and has facilities to offer private consultations on a one to one basis as required. more

Birmingham City Midnight Bus The Birmingham City ‘Midnight’ bus was designed to go onto the streets of Birmingham during the night time to engage with the youth of the city that have no jobs and little chance of employment and to engage with them to assist them into abetter lifestyle and culture. more

Youth Outreach Vehicle The Rochdale Youth Outreach Vehicle were designed as general youth outreach vehicles to access the youth of outlying areas of the town where no youth facilities are available. more

Fire Cab The Dennis Fire Cab was constructed at Dennis Eagle Blackpool to be shipped to Dennis Eagle at Guildford to be mounted to the chassis and fire tender body. more

Tram The ‘Tram’ programme was instigated by the ‘Tram Research Group’ on Merseyside, and sponsored initially by ‘Powergen’ who put £100,000 into the development fund. The vehicle was styled by John Worker, and the consortium of the group consisted of; Powergen; Tram Power, BDA, Blackpool Transport and Pullman Transportation. more

They are intended to supply hot drinks in volume, quickly supplied whilst the public pass through the Supermarket entrance and exits. Payment is made for the items purchased at the shop till. more

They are intended to supply hot drinks in volume, quickly supplied whilst the public pass through the petrol forecourt shop. Payment is made for the items purchased at the shop till. more

Coffee Machine - Costa Coffee Costa coffee machines were designed and built to a specification as required to satisfy the requirements of both ‘Costa’ and ‘Road Chef’ motorway self service areas of the Costa cafes where they are sited. They are intended to supply hot drinks in volume, quickly supplied whilst the public pass through the café / shop. Payment is made for the items purchased at the shop till. more
