The Telford Mercedes Sprinter Van vehicle was designed as mobile youth outreach vehicles to go to outlying small villages where there is no youth service or youth activity centre.
The van was designed to have two distinct areas where different activities could be carried out.
Immediately inside the front sliding entrance door to the right is a small reception desk with drawers and leaflet racks.
To the front bulkhead is a large LCD TV powered by a DVD player.
To the right hand front side is a 2 position IT desk that houses Sony Playstations.
To the rear of the IT desk is the staff wardrobe / electrical control centre with consumer unit and change over switch.
Behind the wardrobe is a small kitchenette area that can be used to serve drinks and snacks.
Through the sculptured partitions is the rear U shaped lounge, trimmed in cherry red fabric with a central table. Music centre, DVD and LCD TVs and LED.
Down lighters complement the interior fittings.
Behind the rear sound insulated bulkhead, and accessible through the twin rear doors is the battery bank, inverter, battery charger, land line and Eberspacher heater.
Also housed behind the rear doors is the awning operating poles.
Externally to the LHS is fitted a large extendable awning. |
